Library Windows

This is the second time I have worked with leaded glass windows at this residence.  The first can be found in the Restoration section of this website titled “Craftsmen Styled Front Door”.  I added two windows to the library using design and color elements found within the front door.  They were assembled with 1/4” wide lead and 3/16” lead was used for the jewels.  The placement of the various colored jewels was random adding to the uniqueness of the windows.  All of the glasses were transparent cathedral glasses with a textured surface.  When the Western sun shines through, the colors are transferred onto the wall and floor.
