This beveled window was a display window completed around 1985. I wanted to show the use of different kinds of clear glasses with an emphasis on bevels. The beveled shield has tapered bevels varying from three eights of an inch to one inch. Most of the surrounding bevels are peak bevels. The reinforcing bars on back are of one half inch brass. The bars are shaped and polished out. The lead matrix was also tapered in places. This is a time consuming technique which adds greatly to a finished window.
