Commissions can be tough when it comes to design concepts which please both the client and the artist. This design was based on the bronze relief form embossed onto the front door. Designing was simplified tremendously. The photograph shows an evening view with the bevels lit from the inside.
The background glass was of GNA clear. The bevels have a 1/2" beveled edge. The caimes are varying widths of copper channels. They are considered a low round profile and are manufactured by Chicago Metallic Corporation.
Here is a detailed image showing the different width bevels and different width copper caimes.
This interior view has a detailed perspective of the transom and the clients’ chandelier. It reveals the bevels in the transome better than the first view of the entryway.
This is an interior shot which shows how the bronze door and the copper caimes work together. The copper caimes have had a brown patina applied to show an aged look.
