The next series of windows were designed and fabricated with no commission involved. I put them up for display in my studio and if I sold them great, if not it was no great loss. I just had a great time making them. There were 13 in this series.
Out Of The Blue is where this comes from. The thought that life could possibly have come from elsewhere was the idea behind this window. The roundel was hand blown and it depicts life as it enters the atmosphere. The orange glass was Fisher opaq, the upper glass a blue cathedral, and the horizon was some Ruth glass. All of this series was assembled by the copper foil method.
