I call this panel my P.O.V. window. Its’ design was inspired by one of my idols, M. C. Escher. This is another one of my favorite commissions. No parameters or strings attached. The client just wanted to see three thumb sketches. She picked this one and off I went. The design idea was based on two different perspectives. Each perspective has intensely colored peak bevels tracing along the edges. Some of the larger areas surrounding the perspectives are beveled on clear glass. Some of the bevels are wider than others and some are tapered. All the bevels were done on 6mm GNA and the remaining clear background was out of regular GNA. Different width brass caimes were used for the perspective lines, lead was used for everything else. If I were to go away tomorrow this would be one of the windows that would define my technical ability at its’ finest. I also feel that it would be one of the most valuable in a dollar and sence kind of way.
