The Eldridge Hotel was restored in 1986. Many nice features were incorporated into the six million dollar restoration. My studio furnished the front entryway sidelights, an eight foot square window, and numerous booth dividers in the formal dining area. The metals were one inch wide copper caimes by Chicago Metallic. The border glasses were of beveled clear glue chip. All the beveling in the border was nine-sixteenths of an inch in width. The standard is usually one half inch. The logo’s background glasses were of GNA antique. The logo has some of the most complex beveling my studio has ever produced. Those bevels are termed peak bevels.
