I have been practicing the craft of stained glass since 1976. During these years I have studied and learned the traditional techniques, most of which are generally termed stained glass. A more detailed description of the various techniques I employ can be found on the terminology page of the website.
Because of the variety of techniques that my studio utilizes, I feel my capabilities allow me to design and execute windows of unique character and quality. Through the combination of traditional techniques, each window becomes a very precise interpretation of the clients’ ideas. My strong art background, coupled with my knowledge of structure and fabrication, allows me to create windows that are aesthetically pleasing, and capable of retaining their structural integrity for generations into the future.
Most commissions are based upon a client’s concept of what is to be represented in the Art Glass Design. Usually a prospectus will discuss these ideas, pointing out the most important subjects which apply to the commission. Once a prospectus has been reviewed, and all questions addressed, a contract can be initiated.
